Well, I'd rather call you what your friends do but...I understand your position.

I see you view the board in threaded mode (mine's set for flat). So that makes things a tad easier, I suppose. I'm of the generation that was taught to address folks by their name.

And your point about not knowing who is lurking about and posting on the fly, registered or not, kind of validates a previous comment I made in this regard; the ability to post without being a member or logging in.

Any who, "Sport" in the context I was using it was intentionally disrespectful, as I'm sure you are aware. It's unfortunate that it happend but, I'm not going to apologize for it in this instance. When I see "incoming" from sources unknown my tendancy is not to duck, but to ascertain from which direction it originates, and then go on the offensive. I'll deal with any collateral damage afterwards in the appropriate manner.

Now, I'm going to try and disengage from this discussion since there is nothing more to be said. Lemme know by PM when I can call you "Mike".

Yes, in the olden days in Iceland, they depended quite a bit on seals for meat, clothing, etc. A secret spot to catch the baby seals was prized. That's why they would tell friends vertu sael and the friends would go away happy. Over time it came to mean just good bye. You did spell it correctly by the way.
