Hey Folks,
Well, I don’t have any fishing updates to post about but I do have some news on our CD to share with you all. We finished the final mixing, our guest reviewer from the California Bluegrass Association has finished her review and liner notes for our CD package and we are essentially done with the design of the package

! We changed the name of the CD to “Bob Played Here”, which was the song we kicked the CD off with, our original tribute song to Bob Wills, the King of Western Swing

!
Ed Kelleher and others out there familiar with what goes into a CD can appreciate all the effort that goes into putting one of these things together. It is an unbelievable amount of work, coordination and compromise from all the band members, your recording folks, guest artists and Production Company. I compare it to a 9 month pregnancy and giving birth but knowing it is not really that hard but it does take longer than that!!
Anyway, here is the CD front and back cover along with a short excerpt on the back from our reviewer Carolyn Faubel from the California Bluegrass Association (CBA). She really liked what we did and gave us great review

! We are looking at a CD release event somewhere around Sacramento in February. I will let you all know when and where.
By the way, we are debating on the Font Color for “Western Lights” on the bottom of the front cover of the CD. It seems the red is a little harder to read so we are thinking of using the yellow bus color. A few comments from those of you who think one or the other color looks and reads the easiest would be appreciated. Thanks!
Best Wishes to all my fly fishing buddies out there

!
Bill
