Thanks, Bill. He's a great author. Wish I lived a little closer to Sacramento... Not too close, just a little closer...

Two terrific authors (McGuane and Houston). FYI, this excellent reading/lecture series is put on by the wife of a former frequent NCFFB poster, Tim Davis. She has done a great job of bringing top line authors to Sacramento for a series that rivals that in any city.

You know Tim? 14 Years, 10 Months ago
I haven't heard from or seen Tim in ages. Does he still fish? I imagine he's real busy with the pending election, but still...

Tim and I fished together some years ago, and I worked with him and his wife Suzette to put on an event in her lecture series. He's on Facebook, seems to be doing just fine.

Aha! 14 Years, 10 Months ago
Yeah, I fished with him a few years ago as well, I just haven't heard anything from him for a long time. So he's on the "F word", eh? I avoid that place like poison, so it's no wonder I haven't heard any news.

By the way--McGuane will also be at Mrs. Dalloway's on College Ave. in Berkeley Monday night 11/1 and at Kepler's 11/2 in Menlo Park.
