The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Two things I found of greatest interest--an editorial from TU, CalTrout, NCCFFF regarding FERC relicensing on the McCloud, in which they clearly state they are opposed to whitewater activities on the river, and a conversation regarding rehabilitation of Hat Creek. Both of these situations will take collaborative efforts, and it's good to see that going on. As always, Richard Anderson has put together a really interesting issue of our local fly fishing magazine.

Love that mag! I think my MAILMAN loves it too. I always get my copy about a week to 10 days later than everyone else. Richard told me they mail them from West Sac. PO, so it should get here fast, but like I told Richard, I think the entire Fairfield Post Office reads my issue.

I got the same news from Curtis Knight and I basically agree with the flow proposal CT put out. Now we just have to see what monkeywrench the AWA, SWRCB and USFS throw in the mix.

I stopped at Hat Creek Park/rest area last week to stretch my legs and the dogs legs before my bonzai run home, do you know when they put they handicap wheelchair ramp access point in?


The leaves were all brilliant golden color on the oaks and birch, I was kicking myself for leaving my good camera at home. iPhone really needs to put a better camera in their phone.
