Taking Boys Fishing, in need of location 17 Years, 11 Months ago

I am a leader in a young men's group called Batallion whose goal it is to develop boys into the next generation of leaders.
We are currently working on a fishing patch (all types of fishing) and are in need of a pond or other location to take them on a trip. We really want them to be successful, so a PRODUCTIVE pond would be cool. I'm thinking that with the warmer weather the bluegill and bass action ought to be picking up in the next couple of weeks.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a place that we can take 15-20 6th throuth 12th grade guys? We are based in Modesto, but are willing to travel a bit.
We also have a modest budget to draw on if the only place available is pay to play.
