Thanks Iceman--I grew up in Ojai, and have worked on Southern Cal Steelhead issues, so it is good the ladder is being used. We need to get the Matilija Dam removed, and open up all that great historical habitat above. I have spent many a day fishing in the Matilija drainage for small wild trout.

its great to see an article like this up here in san jose. im stoked to see people talking about the steelhead runs (or lack there of), and ways we can protect these fish and thier rivers.
