The best floating line I've ever used is Wulff's Triangle Taper...particularly if you don't use a super fast action rod. I'm sure their sinking and salt Triangle Tapers are good too, I've just not used them. It's running about 55-60 bucks a pop. If you do check it out, make sure you get the newer J3 version...it's a nice improvement on an allready dynamite product.
