To add to Carpy's thoughts, Teton makes more than one model. The Teton is the high end, the Teton Tioga is pretty reasonably priced. It has the same drag as the Teton, but has fewer holes in the frame (ergo: a bit heavier)
I have my 7 wt lines on a Tioga Magnum 6, and they work just fine. I never ran out of backing on the Kisaralik, although I saw it more than once....

Do NOT confuse the Tioga LA models with the Magnum. The LA model uses the exact same reel frame, but has a substantially larger center arbor - the spools are interchangeable. the Tioga magnum is a wider reel frame, and is a true Large Arbor reel.
