I wanted to report I had a wonderful time guiding Paul Lieberum and his son Tonio this past weekend on the Lower Sac. Paul won the raffle prize at the Spring Bash (Hereford Ranch). The fishing was moderate... we landed 4 fish and hooked about 8. We were off the water early (2:30) due to other engagements Paul had back down in Chico. Brown rubberleg stones, tan poopahs, micro may flies (olive) and red copper johns were the flies that seemed to work best. size #14, #16, #18
Tonio landed his first fish on a fly rod and I'm hopeful he's hooked into a lifetime of future fun memories with his Dad while Fly Fishing. That's all for now.
