I made it out on Friday when it was raining. The dam parking lot was full then too!
But, I could see trout rising from the bluff at the parking lot (in between all the FF'ers).
The size 20 BWO's were on in a big way. Sometimes it seemed that there was a bug between each rain drop on the water. Trout were wallowing, head and tail rises, eating 4 or 5 bugs at a time. I had nothing in the size 20 range and paid the price! A 15' leader down to 7X didn't make them want to eat my size 18 bugs... time to stock up on the small guys!
