The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Yesterday at my seminar a few folks brought samples of the Mayan Warrior. There was some confusion on what we have posted on this sight. We should make the following two changes in the instructions for the fly...
1. In the recipe list please delete the entire reference dealing with the "Mouth Accent option"
2. In the tying steps please delete step #3 as it now appears (also references the option for the mouth accent)

Neither of these are essential to the pattern. Some people we confused by the instructions?

I hope by dropping the above we can provide a clearer picture on the construction of the basic fly. Thanks for your extra effort with this. I certainly appreciate the chance to share the pattern.
