I don't know, I think it's a little unfair to suggest that the Giants won by default because the Patriots didn't play well. The Giants lead the NFL in sacks this year so beating offensive linemen is something they've been doing all season. They got to Brady a few times the first time they played too. The Giants defensive coordinator was quietly saying all week long that they had a few things that they didn't show the Patriots the first time they played. I thought both defenses played really well. That play where Manning somehow got loose and then threw a prayer up and the receiver somehow made the catch was something else.
Football historians need to give that play a name like some of the other famous plays in history. Tough loss Ed. It sure was a fun game to watch though.
