The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Does anybody know if a shuttle service exists for the Iron Gate drift on the Klamath? Just don't want to drive 2 vehicles up there unless we have to.

If so I would really appreciate any information available.

When I was doing a lot of raft trips up that way (and this worked on other rivers as well) I would call around to a local church and ask the minister/pastor/priest/rabbi/imam if they could recommend someone trustworthy and in need of a little cash to run a "people shuttle". Little tougher if you need equipment shuttled but that can work too.

Can make for an interesting story too....like the time I lined up the shuttle (loooong shuttle) from Alderpoint to Eel Rock with a young woman who immediately lit up her joint when we started out and two of the people I had along on that trip were drug counselors..... It got interesting but ended up very friendly.
