God Bless USMC 17 Years, 6 Months ago
Sharing.......

My Dad was in the Marines for 30 years. He retired in 1972 as a Sgt.Major. At 17, he joined up at the start of WWII. January, 1942. Tours in the Pacific in WWII, Korea, twice in Viet Nam. He's now 82, and still going strong. Guess the Marines made him tough. Much tougher than me.

I'm an Army Viet Nam veteran....he and I were there at the same time. Bless the Lord, we are both still here together to love each other.

Happy Birthday USMC. God bless our troops.

No matter what each of us thinks about the policies or politics of this county, we still live in the best place on Earth.

Our men and women in the conflict deserve our support, as human beings and fellow countrymen.

May Peace be with us.

Thank you Marines (and, since today is Veteran's Day, Army, Air Force, and Navy) for your service.
