The Helios Rod is by far the MOST AMAZING ROD I have ever cast!
Honestly, previous to the Helios I felt all companies make great rods that are all comprable. Then I cast the Helios. Orvis really amazed me. You need to try this rod to understand what I am talking about. You will feel like Joe Montana completing 50 yard passes every time you shoot a laser like loop off the tip of this rod. It loads up like a rod should. It has an amazing feeling. Due to the resonance of the material it bends more but rebounds quicker. Even if you hate Orvis for whatever reason you need to try this rod. It is truely a giant leap in the industry.

Also just out of curiosity why so much hostility tward orvis on the west coast? Can some people chime in about this.... and I know you will because "orvis" can be a hot topic on this board. I am and have been working with the company for a couple of years now and have nothing but good thing to say about them. Honestly their profits a extremly hindered by customer service and conservation.
