Upper Sac Report With Photos & Video MTFF Outing 17 Years, 6 Months ago  
Had a great time on the annual Mount Tamalpais Fly Fishers outing to the Upper Sac this past weekend. Below is a link to some photos and a couple of videos that Google's Picassa muddied up a bit:

It wasn't raining when I landed a couple of fish on Thursday and Friday (it was raining when I landed a couple of others), it didn't rain on Saturday...I'll post some photos and a report later...

Yes, you should have been there instead of watching what happened to the formerly #2 (or 3) ranked college team...

A lot of the folks camped at Castle Crags Campground, some stayed in motels in Dunsmuir, a couple rented a cottage.

...then there is the school for which I played while attending...on Friday night, they blew a two score lead with 8 minutes to go in the 4th quarter ... ...I did grad work at Cal so I can share your pain as well as the shame of the loss by San Jose State to Hawaii...

My best MTFF trip yet... 17 Years, 6 Months ago  
After fishing the Upper Sac for 31 years, I finally broke the 20 inch barrier (TWICE) during the same trip.

Here's a 21 inch fish from a pool in the middle of Dunsmuir.



Another shot of that fish to show the color.



...and the 20 inch fish from the same area on the next day.



Nymphs, on the bottom without benefit of an indicator.
