I'm really just starting to fish for bass, so I don't know too much at this point, but it seems when the conditions are decent the main thing is to fish structure and cover... stumps in the water, trees in the water, rocky points, shelfs... bass seem really keen on structure. Top Action stuff seems to happen in the evening, but a wolly bugger has been the ticket for me.
Bass can be a lot of fun. I love fishing for trout and I'll do that first, but I'm learning to appreciate the warm water option as a real hoot.
