The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I'd recommend the Swan River, east of Flathead Lake or perhaps the SF of the Flathead near Hungry Horse, where it flows out of Hungry Horse Lake. If you're feeling hard-core, drive the length of HH lake and fish the SF Flathead where it comes out of The Bob and flows into the lake, but that's quite a haul, 50+ miles on a dirt road. You also might look at the NF Flathead near the western border of Glacier NP. be sure to take a trip into Glacier! That place is positively beautiful.
