What is a GFT??
Sorry about that. it is a dry fly, tied Wulff style, with white wing(s), grizzly Hackle, Grey Fox Guard Hair Tail, and a grey fox- gray antron mix dubbed body.
originated by my son Ned, who lives, works and fishes in the Sierra. It works very well any place there are a lot of grey bugs, like skeeters. Ned ties it upright and divided, I tie it parachute style.
GFT is an acronym for Grey Fuzzy Thing, which Ned named it, technically, I suppose it's a Grey Fox Wulff.
