Unfortunately, I don't have time to read the article right now (leaving for FL for my daughter's college graduation!), but let me ask two quick questions about the methodology:
1. Did the methodology factor in the weight of the line, or just the physics of the rod itself?
2. Did the methodology consider the affect of extra weight on the casting arm (this may not be technically relevant, but it is certainly practically relevant to someone who is casting the rod all day)?
