Got the chance to take several of the kids out for a day on the river this weekend. Weather was great! I got a little wet-wading in. It (water temps) did feel a little better towards the afternoon than it did in the morning!
We managed to get one student into their first fish ever and what a beauty! We also released 46 fingerling rainbow trout into the river that we had raised through DFG's Trout in the Classroom program.
It was a great day. Now.....if I can get out on the water and get some quality fishing time for myself!!
