The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

A year ago during one of my 8 hour drives from Santa Cruz to the Pit I realized that all my favorite waters flowed from mountains in the Cascade Range. "Those go all the way into Canada" I thought like a dog realizing pigs ears are pretty tasty. "If the south Cascades are this sweet, whats it like up there?"

A couple of ventures north later I moved to the Oregon Washington border. After a couple months back in the Bay Area to help my Dad with some health problems this past Fall I found a new job up here and moved back at the start of this year. Fish have been few and far between as its been one of the coldest winters, so they tell me. But oh boy, what fish they are. Got to drift with a guy who fishes a spey rod this weekend and I'm hooked. Now if I could just find that extra $600 I had laying around.....
