Thanks for all the help. After a bunch of research, I ordered an Olympus 770 - I already have a spare battery and a 256M spare card - same as my 725.
Almost went with the Optio, but there were enough dubious reports, that I decided to stick with the devil I know.
Still 7.1 Meg, slow shutter, drop proof to 5 feet, water proof to some depth - no help if you can't get it back - Oh, and it comes with a lanyard!!!!
We'll see how long this one lasts. I am still going back for my other one, next month, I hope.
