Well, just returned from a busy 2 weeks in Montana with lots of family coming and going but we did get in lots of fishing. It just happened to be a very late Salmonfly hatch this year and probably one of the best years where we are. I have never seen that many bugs flying and in the bushes. There were even confused golden stones try to get it on with salmonflies. Anyway, the second week my brother was there for what is now the 3rd year. As the story goes he insists on nymphing because he knows he can caught fish that way. Pretty frustrating for me as this was one of the prime times for dry fly and he still kept nymphing. Finally on the 5th day I told him I was going to kick his a$$ if he did dry fly. I showed him the fly to use, set him up in a prime spot and told him right where to cast. He finally got his first fish on a dry.
