West Walker below the highway bridge, very slow fishing. Water is low and warm. Plenty of dinks available in small creeks, for instance, Green Creek, but you have to keep on moving.
Sad to see how overpriced everything is in Bridgeport. Casa Michaela over-rated (disinterested service and so-so food), the Rhino just plain awful (breakfast) (I'm thinking four or five beers would improve the food at the Rhino); the Barn (best burger within 100 miles, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to sample their Mexican menu) and Hays Street Cafe (biscuits and gravy with anything, a big hit) are keeping up the good work. Gas over $5/gal--of course. And still, people persist in towing behemoth trailers, laden with quad-drivers and dirt bikes.
