A Fishing Report, A Fishing Report!!! 18 Years, 2 Months ago

Well, sort of. Many of you decried the lack of fishing reports. So, here's one.
I finally got a free day yesterday, Weds., so I trucked up to the Yuba. The wind was howling. There were whitecaps on the river. I did manage a few casts between gusts, but mostly I was untangling windknots. Saw no sign of rises, though there were some PMDs flying around, so I even resorted to some nymphs. The added weight made casting a little easier, but after a few unproductive drifts, I bagged it. Went home after only two hours on the river, skunked.
So there! Bah humbug!

LOL, I hate wind. We have the same problem in Montana on many days. Thanks for the report. Maybe some day we will get back up to the Yuba again.

Glad to hear you got out anyway. That wind was really something. As far as fishing reports, I may have a few in the near future. I have dedicated a week every month of my vacation time for June, July, August for getting out on a fishing/camping/hiking trip. Now if I catch anything......that will be the report!

Rick, yes I do remember your reports of your annual trips to Twin Lakes--always a good read. Hope you can make the bash. I don't think I've seen you at a bash since Stampede.
