How do I post a new message (new topic)?

In order to start a new topic (post a new message) - you must first navigate to the forum areas.
From the "Front Page" (the first page you see from http://www.ncffb.org) you will want to select "THE BOARD" to view the forum area:
After you select THE BOARD you will see various forum areas. The main forum for general discussion is the "Campfire". Select the forum that is appropriate for you:
Once you are viewing the forum you will notice a "NEW THREAD" button. Clicking this will allow you to create a NEW THREAD in the forum. This new post will be listed as a new top level entry in the forum. Subsequent posts to this will be in the form of "replies".
