Simms Customer Service 17 Years, 8 Months ago
While steelhead fishing this year I noticed that a couple of the rivets on my wading boots had fallen out. This was no big deal until one of the eyelets also fell off. I was going to take the boots to a shoe repare shop and mentioned this to one of the guys from The Fly Shop. He said I should send the boots back to Simms. I was a bit skeptical of this idea because the boots were in very good shape but I went ahead and returned the boots to Simms. I received an email that the boots would be replaced at no cost. I also was telephoned by Simms Customer service that the replacement boots would be delayed probably until March. About a month after sending the boots to Simms I received a new pair of Guide Boots via UPS. I just wanted to acknowledge outstanding customer service. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for.
