I find it interesting to surf the Native corporation websites like Kuskokwim Native Corp. , Bristol Bay Corp. and the Calista Corp. Read the pages there and they say how they are for enviro friendly mining operations. However, they seem to let mining companies do all the exploritory operations they want without notifiying all the shareholders in the local corps.....Just seems strange that if the Natives want pristine lands...why would they consider letting the mining companies even think about mining it???? Could it be the money?? I think so. The native corps are about making money for the shareholers. AKA : alaskan natives.

Mines like the Pebble mine, Kisaralik exploration and Donlin projects won't do the habitat any good. They should clean up the mess at the gold mine on the Arolik, and the like, before they allow any more mining. I know the Arolik thing was done long ago...but ,to me, it still doesn't make it OK. But I guess the Natives can do whatever they want and so can the mining companies until the mining laws change.

Not an expert on it...just my .02 cents...............Jr. poster berms
