.actually Shawn they were NOT caught cheating; they were caught violating the leagues taping policies.
That's cheating! They were fined $750,000, $250,000 for the owner and $500,000 for Belichick. That's a pretty big fine for someone that didn't do anything wrong.
The league ruled that none of the footage was ever used to gain a competitive advantage in a game.
I never said THAT footage aided them, the league confiscated it!
What about the footage from games before that? Duh!
Not to mention, almost every ex-coach addmitted that they all did it too when they coached......except Don Shula of course!
Almost every ex coach? I haven't heard even ONE say anything like that but so what if they did. If they did it when they coached then they were cheating too. The Pat's broke the 11th commandment. "Though shall not get caught."
