When it comes to wader repair I find that Dave's Flexament is much superior to either AquaSeal or ShoeGoo. Apply the material using a small brush. It goes on easier and dries much faster. Use multiple thin coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the second. A hair drier helps to speed things up. Even without the drier, a good repair can be made in 90 minutes total. The application is easier to control than with the thicker materials and ends up being a thinner patch. Best of all, I find that the Flexament repair lasts seemingly forever. I learned this trick from Bob at the Ted Fay Flyshop when he helped me repair a thorn-induced tear. I've used the technique many times since then and it has always worked very well, even on abrasion related leaks on the inner seams of legs. Try it!
