Hey Mark and all you fly swappers,
Just finished my 14 flys for Mark’s steelhead fly swap
! My fly is a size 12 olive bead head birds nest. The color is actually a brown olive but I kind of like the color as it turned out. The birds nest is a fun fly to tie ‘cause it is supposed to look kind of like a mess
. Anyway, one of our very own, expert fly tiers who was in on this swap (Phil) gave me the tip on this fly and I look forward to trying it up on the Trinity this fall. Thanks guys, look forward to getting what I am sure will be a great group of steelhead flys!
