it is very thick deep into the rear body which adds a fair amount of weight to this length... so best guess is about 27 pounds. chased it for nealy 1/2 mile and 40 minutes before finally landing. It just would not give up despite my hauling hard on 15 lb maxima. Nearly spooled of 200 yards backing twice.

Not my biggest steelhead... but the best fight I have ever had
